Training Unit

The Training Unit (UtbE) conducts basic training for conscripts in the command and communication area and electronic warfare at the Signal Regiment.

The unit has a high level of technology and operates in many different areas, both geographically and technically. We work with command and staff locations, radio links, radio, network technology, satellite communication, operations management, logistics, and mechanics. The unit is also vehicle-heavy with a wide range of vehicle types.

We are looking for you who are currently serving as a conscript and want to develop as a leader and educator, and are interested in applying for professional or reserve officer training.

Norunda Company

Norunda Company is a training company that trains conscripts for division leadership. The typical platoons consist of the Staff Platoon, Communication Platoon, Cable/Close Protection Platoon, and Support Platoon. The goal is to create good conditions for employment, continued engagement, and a career within the Armed Forces.

Main Duties (5 positions)

The main focus is that you are offered a position within the same area of responsibility in which you have completed basic training, but depending on the unit's needs, another position may be considered.

You will be a colleague in a unit that encourages foresight, creativity, quality, and independent action in the spirit of the commander. Developing personal combat value and professional competence is an important part of your duties. It is a natural part of the job to serve in exercises and occasionally work irregular hours.

Your service will take place at Norunda Company, either as an instructor in a platoon command team or as an assistant in company leadership.

Requirements

• Completed and approved basic training (JA-2-2)
• High school diploma

Personal Qualities

You have good cooperation skills and are responsible. You are solution-oriented and used to working both independently and in a team. You have good communication skills and the ability to educate, support, and lead conscripts. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.

Desirable Qualifications

• Completed GBU or leadership experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Driver's license B (Manual)
• Military driver's license
• Basic training at the Training Unit/Norunda Company

This is a fixed-term employment for 12 months. (Command Reinforcement Agreement)

The Armed Forces applies individual salary setting.

Start date 2025-07-01 or by agreement.
